Announcing the Open Beta for CyExNg!
CyExNg is our Cyber Exercise Engine. We hope you'll join and participate in our open beta!
CyExNg is designed to streamline the scoring of your cyber exercises. Unlike many other products, it is parallelized and continuously monitors all scoring criteria. The CyExNg product combines the engine itself with an interactive and dynamic web application, which enables you to add and configure events, teams, devices, services, and service checks. Additionally, you can add flags and assessment scores.
CyExNg is fully modular. You can either use our default proprietary service check modules for services, or create your own! The CyExNg engine is flexible and can be used in many different ways. Additionally, the engine is fully customizable with an extensive range of settings and options, allowing you to configure the engine based on your environment and requirements. CyExNg is extremely fast, lightweight, and durable. Combined with our web application, you will be able to see real-time and historical data on your cyber exercise. With full-featured dynamic charts, sorting, and filtering, you'll be able to find and display the data you need! You can see a complete event overview, or drill down to a specific service such as HTTP running on a web server.
Our pricing scheme is extremely flexible and adaptive towards your environment and requirements. Contact us today about a free trial of CyExNg! If you are an educational or non-profit institution don't miss out on a discount! Interested in having WraySec host your exercises, competitions, and events? Check out WraySec's Cyber Security Training and Exercise Service. WraySec is happy to help design and host your cyber exercises, ranging from internal training events to international cyber competitions.
CyExNg is a full-featured platform, containing all of the components needed to build, manage, and score a cyber exercise. No matter if the event is an internal training event or a large international cyber security competition, CyExNg has the functionality built right into the web application and engine.
CyExNg features continuous scoring of services, providing granular uptime metrics for your exercise events. Service scoring encompasses more than verification that a particular port is open; instead, CyExNg examines the operationality of the service to ensure the service is not just available but properly functioning.
A common cyber exercise scoring element: flags. A flag is usually an element of data, representing real-world data of value. In other cases, a flag can be the answer to a question, ranging from practical questions about technology to trivia questions. Regardless of your flag type, CyExNg includes robust flag generation and scoring for training events and capture-the-flags alike.
Cyber Exercises often have additional objectives that are unable to be scored by technical means. Such objectives may include tasks or even soft-skills that are examined and scored by an assessor. CyExNg includes the ability for free-form assessment scoring so that you can complete all of the event scoring within one application.
CyExNg ships with a number of common service modules, but some events employ custom or proprietary services. With CyExNg you can write your own scoring modules and score any network-based service. Through a combination of the API you can even deploy software on your exercise targets to perform user-based scoring. CyExNg was designed to be as flexible and modular as possible to ensure full support for any event type!
Detailed Charts and Graphs
CyExNg features graphical representations of all of the scoring data, ensuring participants and spectators alike can quickly and easily digest the results of an exercise. Given the range of scoring areas, these detailed charts and graphs provide great levels of detail in visually pleasant and easily readable formats.
Ticket system and Event Chat allow for streamlined communication with event participants, that is fully logged for later review. The ticket system allows for direct communication with event participants as your event progresses, great for relaying announcements or resolving technical concerns. The event chat allows teams to seamlessly communicate and can provide event wide dialog about your event.
As the administrator of an exercise, it's imperative that you have access to real-time logging of the activity taking place within your event. CyExNg includes administrative logging of all of the activity, from service results to flag submissions. Monitoring these logs is a great way to ensure your event is running smoothly, and to combat any concerns before they become an issue.
Deliver valuable information to your exercise participants without printing anything! CyExNg allows for event information to be designed in a rich-text format and provided to users directly within the interface. Information such as network diagrams, scenario backgrounds, and event rules are all easily published for reference within the event.
No more pouring through long and complex user manuals! CyExNg includes documentation directly within the application. Administrative documentation details the configuration and management of every feature and function found within the product. User-facing documentation is available to every user so they have quick and easy access to information detailing how they should interact with the product.
CyExNg is truly full-featured and contains far more features than can be adequately covered here. We recommend you check out the interactive demo and then contact us to schedule a one-on-one discussion about CyExNg's features and how CyExNg can be used by your organization!
